Steel Seal Head Gasket Repair 473ml is a powerful liquid treatment providing a simple solution for blown head gaskets and other engine cooling system leaks. Its patented formula creates a permanent steel like seal to repair blown head gaskets, cracked cylinder heads, cracked engine blocks and leaking freeze plugs without the need for dismantling or cylinder head removal. Suitable for petrol and diesel engines and most water cooled systems, Steel Seal helps stop coolant loss, reduce the risk of overheating and restore reliable engine operation. The required quantity depends on engine size, with one bottle for engines up to 2.0 litres, two bottles for engines from 2.0 to 4.0 litres and three bottles for engines over 4.0 litres.

How to use
Ensure the engine is cool. Remove the radiator cap or open the expansion tank where applicable and pour the recommended quantity of Steel Seal directly into the cooling system. Refit the cap, start the engine and run until normal operating temperature is reached, with the heater on if required. Allow the engine to cool and top up with coolant if necessary. Leave Steel Seal in the cooling system after treatment. Use 1 bottle for engines up to 2.0 litres, 2 bottles for engines from 2.0 to 4.0 litres and 3 bottles for engines over 4.0 litres.
Important information
Ensure the engine is cool before opening the radiator cap or expansion tank.
