One of the brands distributed and owned by Automotive Brands, Power Maxed vehicle care, is title sponsor of the Power Maxed Arenacross Tour, an incredible series of shows across the UK consisting of freestyle motocross (FMX) displays and high-adrenaline racing.
The relationship between Power Maxed and Arenacross came about in September 2017, when Adam Weaver, Managing Director of Automotive Brands, and Matt Bates of Arena Sports Live, decided that promoting the Power Maxed brand to the Arenacross would be an example of perfect brand synergy. Both Power Maxed and Arenacross are powerful, loud brands which stand for pushing the boundaries of customer expectations, whether with regards to product performance or literal live performance, and the sponsorship agreement was designed to promote both brands to new audiences, as well as introduce fans of motocross to the British Touring Car Championships (where Power Maxed are title sponsors of two Vauxhall Astras in team Power Maxed Racing) and vice versa.
The Power Maxed Arenacross Tour kicked off in Manchester on 6th January, continuing to Newcastle and Automotive Brands’ local event at the Birmingham NEC. All Automotive Brands staff were invited to attend to see the reach gained by Power Maxed during the live show, and of course to enjoy the entertainment. The Arenacross continues to Belfast this weekend, followed by Wembley and Sheffield in February, finishing just in time to allow Automotive Brands a short break before the 2018 season and 60th Anniversary of the BTCC kicks off in March.
Power Maxed’s title sponsorship of the Arenacross tour has already amassed a huge amount of reach to an entirely new audience, with events not only being promoted and frequently discussed under the Power Maxed name in national, highly relevant magazines such as Dirt Bike Rider and TMX, but also promoted in local advertising near to the show venues. The tour is then aired on television every Saturday following the event, gaining a huge amount of TV coverage for the vehicle care product supplier.
Power Maxed also holds double page advertising and editorial content in the Arenacross programme which is given to VIP attendees and available for purchase by standard entry attendees at £10 each.
Another of Automotive Brands’ distributed brands, Steel Seal head gasket repair, sponsors the tour with several race blocks sporting the Steel Seal logo and page advertising supporting and explaining how the product works in the programme too.
