Automotive Brands at Autosport International 2017

Autosport International was a great way to kick off the New Year with visitor numbers over the four day event peaking at 87,800. Autosport is Europe’s largest indoor pre-season motorsport event at one million square feet, which celebrates its 27th year at the NEC arena, Birmingham, and features exhibits, stands and Live Action from every sector of the Motorsport and Auto industry.

We were delighted to make their fourth appearance at the show and pleased to have a stand in Hall Six, with prime location near the entrance which attracted lots of keen car enthusiasts.
We spent the weekend with other trade members and the general public to promote our brands Steel Seal, Power Maxed and J-B Weld with our latest product developments, which included Power Maxed Tsunami Wax & Power Maxed All Purpose Cleaner.

Adam Weaver, Automotive Brand’s Managing Director has been attending the show for many years, he finds attending events such as Autosport International, a positive experience in terms of maximising awareness of the business and the event keeps getting bigger and better each year.

“Being able to target the right audience is key, I found it very beneficial to have the time to talk and engage with trade customers, motorsport fanatics and car enthusiast about our products which was combined with a thoroughly enjoyable fun day out”.

Said Weaver.

Halfords Yuasa Racing recently announced a newly formed sponsorship agreement with Steel Seal for the forthcoming 2017 British Touring Car Championship season.

This agreement will see the Steel Seal brand getting even more coverage in the BTCC on the newly livered Honda Civic Type R.

Steve Harrison, Global Brand Director of Steel Seal says

“I am really pleased to have a presence on one of the most televised and photographed teams in the BTCC paddock, you know if either Matt or Gordon are at the back, in the middle or leading the race, you can guarantee they will be getting maximum exposure for our brand”.

Steve Thomas – Marketing Manager for Team Dynamics added

“It’s great to have another recognised name in Steel Seal join us for 2017. I think many people are familiar with the brand and we are looking to exploit that even further for them this year. We go into the season looking to replicate what we have achieved over the past two years and hopefully crown one of our drivers a four time BTCC Champion”
